T-5 days

Tuesday I had my 39 week appointment and we are both doing fine. I had a NST and BPP and both tests showed little M doing perfectly!

Yesterday, at work, I started having contractions and feeling crampy for the 2nd day in a row. After calling my doc, she thought it would be ok if I skipped out on work for the rest of my pregnancy. It is only 4 days of school, one is field day, and the last day is a half day so it didn't really matter. Not to mention grades were already due and I passed those in Monday.

Now its the stupid waiting game. When I was in the office Tuesday my doc told me to come in either Friday or next Tuesday to see her. Originally I made the appointment for Tuesday thinking I would still be working but now I have rescheduled for tomorrow. Why wait?

I know I have been dilating so tomorrow I am going to see if she will strip my membranes. (Membrane stripping is when the doctor separates the amniotic sac from your cervix in hopes of speeding up labor). Its done all the time and I am more than ready to have this baby.

It's Father's day this weekend AND it's my dad's birthday on Tuesday so I will be heading to the mall to pick up some things. I will also be doing as much cleaning as possible since I'm home now. I'm not sure I would call it nesting...just intense cleaning since I haven't felt like doing much of anything lately when I get home from work, but now since I have the time I might as well!!!

Worst case scenario baby M will be here in 15 days MAXIMUM!!! I really hope sooner!!!!!
