30 by 30

Well blog readers, its been a while since I have posted. Following suit with some of my friends I thought I should post a 30 by 30 list (especially since I only have 3 years until I'm 30, yikes!)

1. Make Cailin a big sister. Actually, I want to be done having kids before I am 30. so expect another little one within 3 years!
2. Become manager of Northeast District MMEA
3. Buy a new car. Brand new. (I think we can count of this since my mom-mobile is quite old.)
4. Start teaching private voice lessons again. I stopped teaching at NMA when Cailin was born, and it was a tough decision to make. I loved that job but it was almost impossible with Cailin, unless I wanted to be away from her literally all day on Monday and Wednesday.
5. Move out of Hill Road. We are very comfortable here and really like our spacious condo. I think Dan and I know that it is time to start looking at houses but we are in no position to buy just yet. I can't say we will be ready to buy in 3 years but I know we will be on our way.
6. Take a family vacation to Disney. Cailin will be older and more portable soon and I would love to bring her to Disney. I never got to go on any cool family vacations as a little kid and I think it is something I definitely  missed out on.
7. Go to Niagra Falls. Me and Dan are already in desperate need of a one on one vacation together but we aren't quite in that position yet. Cailin is still too little to leave for too long on her own.
8. Go to California. (We have already started semi-planning this one...)
9. Keep up with Cailin's baby book.
10. Go to Hawaii to visit Auntie Laura
11. Shed 30 lbs and keep it off
12. Get a permanent job. So, this is technically my 2nd year teaching in Billerica because when I was hired I was just a few days over the halfway mark thus making it a complete year last year. I think by the time I have taught there for 5 years I am more of a permanent fixture. They don't have tenure but have "professional status" instead. If I end up not working in Billerica for whatever reason, I want to have another permanent job.
13. Attend the Boston WIne Expo again
14. Rent a cottage on the beach for a couple of weeks during the summer. This is a great family vacation destination. Cailin would love being near the beach, and so would I. We could even send her off with the in-laws for a few days and have visitors too. I think the Cape is a little pricey but NH or even Maine is a little more affordable.
15. Be done with student loans. BAM
16. Continue to experiment with cooking. I have gotten into cooking over the past year and have become more willing to try recipes I think would be more difficult. I hope to continue to do so and even make more baked goods. (possibly Cailin's birthday cakes)
17. Update my CPR and first aide certifications.
18. Make my house less of a cluster Fu**. I like a clean house but I still have way to much stuff. Dan has thrown out a bunch too but we still just have too much crap we don't use or is just junk. Part of it has to do with my mom passing away and me inheriting everything.
19. Get a king size bed
20. Do at least 3 charitable events. A charity walk, food drive, blood drive?
21. Go to the 4th of July festivities in Boston
22. Get the ball rolling on the Vocal Festival (more deets to follow)
23. Attend my 10 year reunion
24. Get upstate to visit my Grandparents
25. Take a mommy and toddler swim class
26. Visit some friends who live far away!
27. Adopt a pet (not a dog)
28. Enroll Cailin in music lessons
29. Get Cailin involved in sports
30. Be HAPPY
